Bathroom remodeling, waterproofed like we own it

A bathroom fails from the inside out — which is why we obsess over what you'll never see: waterproofing membranes, slope, ventilation, and blocking. Then we make the part you do see worth staring at.

Bathrooms we build

  • Master bath rebuilds — curbless or low-curb showers, frameless glass, double vanities, heated floors.
  • Tub-to-shower conversions — the most requested upgrade in the East Bay, done with proper drain relocation and waterproofing, not an acrylic cover-up.
  • Guest & hall bath refreshes — new tile, vanity, lighting, and fixtures on a tight, predictable schedule.
  • Accessibility upgrades — grab-bar blocking, zero-threshold entries, comfort-height fixtures that don't look institutional.

Look through the portfolio and you'll notice bathrooms dominate — frameless glass on travertine in Concord, hand-set mosaic listellos, wall-hung fixtures on large-format tile. It's the room where craftsmanship shows fastest, and where cutting corners shows even faster.

The waterproofing standard

Every shower we build gets a continuous waterproofing membrane, flood-tested before tile, with sloped pans and sealed penetrations. Fans are sized and vented to the exterior — not the attic. It's code, it's common sense, and it's shocking how often we open up failed showers built without it.

Line-item pricing, short schedule

Most bathrooms run 2–4 weeks of construction on a written, transparent, line-item proposal. You'll get the day-by-day calendar before demo starts, a daily photo log during the build, and a punch-list walkthrough before we call it done.

How the project runs

  1. Free consultation — we measure, check joists and venting, and answer feasibility questions on the spot.
  2. Written estimate — transparent, line-item proposal in about 48 hours.
  3. Permits & schedule — pulled and locked before demo.
  4. Construction — sealed work zone, flood test before tile, daily photo log.
  5. Final walkthrough — punch list together, warranty handed over, sign-off before close-out.

Bathroom FAQ

Asked before every bath

Typically 2–4 weeks from demo to final walkthrough. If it’s your only bathroom, we sequence the work to restore a functioning toilet and temporary shower access as early as possible — tell us at the consultation and we’ll plan around it.
Usually, yes — it depends on joist direction and depth, which we check at the free consultation. Where a true zero-threshold isn’t feasible, a low-profile curb with a linear drain gets remarkably close.
Yes. Compact hall baths are a specialty, and we run volume bathroom turnarounds for property managers — durable finishes, fast schedules, single-invoice billing. See multi-unit services.
